Jin Chen, Founder
Jin grow up in China, moved to Alaska in 2008 and finished her bachelor and master degree from University of Alaska Fairbanks. She is Alaska transplanted and intend to stay.
Jin worked in a public accounting firm for 3 years before going back to the business development world that she is so fascinated about. The largest mandarin speaking tour operation "Alaska Skylar Travel" she co-founded at the time grow revenue 5 times in two years. Jin’s other ventures include a cosmetic brand "Simple Lashes", a winter gear rental company "Arctic Wear", and an innovative product design & manufacture company "Creative Trading". Jin is also a State of Alaska recognized real estate sales agent.
Jin's passion is helping new businesses take off and optimize existing businesses. In her spare time, she loves doing anything with her Samoyed/American Eskimo dog Jasper and scuba diving around the world.
Jin serves on the board of directors of Visit Anchorage and Anchorage Chamber of Commerce, on the Alaska Tourism Industry Association marketing committee, and as Commissioner for Anchorage’s Sister City partnership with Harbin, China.
She regularly appears as a guest speaker at her alma mater the University of Alaska Fairbanks.

Anchorage, Alaska and Harbin, China haven't had official sister cities relationship since 1980s. We played a significant role in signing the agreement to form sister cities. We continue to work on economy, education and culture exchange.
